As products enter different markets, websites, catalogs, distributors, and trade-show materials repeatedly restate names, specifications, and applications. When AI combines sources, it may confuse a model family with a specific SKU, nominal values with measured values, or regional certification with global certification. Start governance with fields and evidence, not more translated pages.
Build a master product fact table with regional conditions
| Field Groups | Context to be retained | Public disclosure considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Brand, series, model, SKU, version | Keep model names consistent; do not apply family-level values to individual products |
| Performance | Value, unit, test conditions, date | Distinguish ratings, ranges, and sample-test results |
| Compliance | Certificate name and number, covered models, market, and validity period | No inference of cross-regional approval |
| Transactions | Market, currency, quotation date, MOQ, and lead time | Date changing information or direct buyers to an inquiry |
| Support | Warranty provider, service region, and language | Distributor promises are not automatically brand promises |
Each fact also needs source_url, an evidence version, reviewer, and disclosure status. A Chinese manual alone does not justify inventing certification or inventory details for an English page. Retain original values and formulas for unit conversions, and distinguish old and new batches when configurations change. Where information is unknown, direct readers to current model documents or local sales confirmation rather than filling gaps with typical category specifications.
Resolve conflicts across sites
First establish that records concern the same model, market, and version. Compare dates and applicable conditions on the brand site, formal manuals, and distributor pages. Ask distributors to update outdated information or provide new official materials. Do not overwrite correct primary facts because a third party ranks higher. If the official site contains two versions, return to the SSOT field table to confirm the effective value, then update all language pages and Schema.
SuperPDR repair tools require kit models to be distinguished from their specific contents. ELEREIN cleaning equipment requires specifications to be separated from site-test conditions. Zhihe Growth uses these two named case studies to explain content governance, without inferring unpublished certifications, inventory, prices, or target markets here. Check each brand's current primary pages for product details.
For verification, SuperPDR's MPT-Q013 Tool Page supports checks of model, piece count, and materials; ELEREIN's industrial floor scrubber selection guide shows how specifications relate to site conditions. The former does not establish a standard configuration for all PDR tools, and the latter does not replace each model's specification sheet. Preserve these distinct page roles in cross-language summaries.
Propagating changes and verifying acceptance
New products, revisions, certificate expiry, and channel changes should trigger an impact list covering product pages, guides, FAQs, PDFs, JSON-LD, language versions, and distributor materials. Before publication, sample three question types: what the model includes, where it is available, and when it must not be used. Check that answers retain the correct model and region. For multilingual URL relationships, see the hreflang Guide; for content relationships, see Multilingual knowledge architecture. This process reduces factual mismatches but does not guarantee immediate updates to old answers on every platform.
Example: handling a model revision
Suppose a product family changes its battery configuration in a new batch while an old English catalog still lists the former runtime. Do not begin with a global number replacement. First identify affected SKUs, batches, and markets. Second, record old and new values, test conditions, and effective dates in the master fact table. Third, update only pages covering the new batch, label old catalogs as historical, and notify distributors whose materials can be updated. Do not advertise the new configuration in a market without evidence that it is sold there.
Retest questions separately for the product family, old SKU, new SKU, and regional purchasing conditions. If answers mix them up, save the actual cited URLs to distinguish unsynchronized owned pages, outdated third-party records, and platform conflation of similar models. This reveals decision-relevant errors more effectively than brand-only tests and identifies the pages requiring revision.
